I need some help with this old modem.?

ALRIGHT this modem (i think thats what its called) has been sitting up in my attic for at least a few years. My uncle bought it from a street merchant and dumped it here. It operates fine: it turns on; doesnt make strange sounds; takes me to the login screen and everything. But it has a password on it and I'm sure you've guessed by now but I have no frickin clue what it is! So please, someone, ANYONE, help me. Maybe there is some way for me to manually reset it?
