I accidently bounced a check for $10....HELP!!!!!!!?

I am freaking out here! I accidently bounced a check for $10 at my bank account, and I need to know if I am going to jail here! I have never bounced a check before in my life, and my account is really screwed up right now...I need to know what kind of consequences I am facing here. I live in Ohio, and my bank account is still open...Can I go to the merchant, which actually was a hospital, and tell them my situation? I plan on telling them what happened, and going to pay the returned check fee this Thursday when I get paid!
