In Legend of the Seeker Season 2 Episode 3 Broken, is the merchant that Zedd turned into Autolycus from Xena?

He looks similar, but I cant find any info anywhere on the speculation. The reason I ask is that I know that there is a connection between TLOTS and Xena/Hercules and I thought that this might be a wink wink to the fans (they just could not get Bruce Campbell to come because he is so famous with Burn Notice now a days). Just thought someone might have noticed the same similarities.
