What type of job should I get?

Hi, I have just finished my A levels and I am taking a gap year before going to university to do Marine Studies/ Merchant Shipping. I am applying for a job on a cruise ship for some experience (and money) because obviously I'm doing shipping at university. My dad works on cruise ships but hopefully we wont be getting under one- anothers feet lol.
