Will The Money Be Refunded Back Into My American Express Gift Card ?

ok so I bought something on eBay a couple days ago and we had a issue which we resolved so she decided to give me a refund but I didn't use pay pal to pay for the item , I can see she refunded it but idk where it went to ? it clearly states here this "merchandise purchased with the card is subject to, the merchants return policies. if the merchant agrees to issue a credit to the card this amount may not be reflected in the available balance until the credit posts, which may take up to 7 days" so should i wait it's been 2 days ?
