Do you think it was the right thing for my boss to sack me?

Maybe next time in your next job if you feel the same, try talking to your manager and asking for more challenging tasks or a change in roll as you feel that you aren't gaining anything from your current position and to be honest if you feel and show that your not interested then thats what your boss sees so maybe thats why they sacked you.
