Do men tolerate contemporary electronic dance music just to get into women's pants?

I recently caught on to Calvin Harris through a rerun of Jools Holland--his performance was excellent but the music plays by itself like total superficial $%#. It's nothing like the complex sound of electronic dance music from 10-15 years ago; although maybe it's just the recently popular and vacant-headed "electropop" that I can't stand. I'm no expert in this genre but I know degradation when I hear it, and what's so sick is that every woman in her 20's loves it. Which has me believing that any men who can actually tolerate it these days are interested in only one thing....dlck. (...see what I did there--"into women's pants"?)
